چکیده
Positive phase III results for Roche’s emicizumab in haemophilia A published in The New England Journal of Medicine ● HAVEN 1 showed emicizumab reduced bleed rate by 87% compared with on-demand bypassing agents ● All 12 secondary endpoints in HAVEN 1 were positive, including an intra-patient comparison that showed emicizumab reduced bleed rate by 79% compared to prior prophylactic bypassing agents ● Data from HAVEN 1 in adults and adolescents and interim data from HAVEN 2 in children with haemophilia A with inhibitors are being presented today at the 26th International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Congress ● Data from both studies have been submitted to FDA and EMA for approval consideration

Factor VIII-Mimetic Function of Humanized Bispecific Antibody in Hemophilia A.
BACKGROUND In patients with severe hemophilia A, standard treatment is regular prophylactic and episodic intravenous infusions of factor VIII. However, these treatments are burdensome, especially for children, and may lead to the formation of anti-factor VIII alloantibodies (factor VIII inhibitors). Emicizumab (ACE910), a humanized bispecific antibody mimicking the cofactor function of factor V...

Abstract Background: Haemophilia A (HA) is an X-linked bleeding disorder caused by the absence or reduced activity of coagulation factor VIII (FVIII). Coagulation factors are a group of related proteins that are essential for the formation of blood clots. The aim of this study was to genotype the coagulation factor VIII gene mutations using Inverse Shifting PCR (IS-PCR) in an Iranian family ...

Data from the OCREVUS Phase III studies showed consistent and clinically meaningful reductions in major markers of disease activity and progression compared with Rebif® (interferon beta-1a) in RMS and with placebo in PPMS. The primary endpoint was met in all three studies, which includes relative reduction of annualised relapse rate in the RMS studies and relative reduction in the progression o...
